It's Here! Reviewing the New iPhone
1. Design
With a stainless steel rim and flush black glass back, the iPhone 4 is more sophisticated looking than the 3G or 3GS iPhones. Its sleek, utilitarian feel is a modern evolution of definitive Braun design and so in keeping with the Apple product line. Interestingly, this stainless steel band will boost reception by acting as an antenna for 3G and wireless. Apple claims that it's the thinnest smartphone on the market.

2. Processing
The iPhone 4's brain is a new, robust one. As all the bits and pieces of chips and cards are in a single component, you'll be able to process data faster without draining the battery.

3. Battery
The phone's weight gain can be attributed to an upgrade in the battery. Apple is claiming the iPhone 4 has 40% more talk time.

4. Display
Apple is calling its new beast of a power display "Retina Display", with four times the pixels of a 3G. This is so finely pixellated that definition is higher than in a standard magazine. Indeed, Apple states this is beyond the reach of the human eye.

5. Camera
Apple has improved the camera, bumping up to 5 megapixels, with 5x digital zoom, greater sensitivity in low light and HD video shooting. With the addition of the iMovie video editing app this means you can make polished home movies on your mobile phone, complete with a soundtrack from its iTunes.
An additional camera on the phone's front also lets you video conference. However call conference so far only works with other iPhone 4s using the "Face Time" app over WiFi.

6. Software
The phone comes with the new iOS4 operating system. The most significant feature of this upgraded OS is its multitasking ability. Finally, this means you can stream music whilst checking your email amongst other things.
