Any product by the waste king garbage disposal company is going to be a quality product, not only that but they all come standard with warranties. The Waste King Gourmet SS3300 comes with a 10 year in-home service warranty and a LIFETIME corrosion warranty. That is a great way to start off a product review, having a 10 year warranty guarantee's this product will be up to your standards for a full ten years, that's pretty crazy.
Let's list off a few features of the product. It comes with a high speed 2700 RPM permanent magnet motor. The quality of the waste king motors has been known to be pretty good, and if there was ever a problem to begin with it the warranty will instantly cover it. It has stainless steel grinding components to prevent rusting or corrosion from ever happening, along with this is the lifetime corrosion warranty so if somehow it does manage to corrode, BOOM, instantly replaced. The 3300 comes with a 'fast and easy mount system' to provide a hassle free installation along with all the hardware needed to install. There's a removable splash guard included as well which will give you the option of using it or not using it depending on what you need. It is actually sound insulated too for quiet operation in the home. Power cord is included as well, as it should be.
The Waste King Gourmet SS3300 is one of the stronger powered products in the EZ Mount series, boasting a good 3/4 horsepower. Will you need this much horsepower for your family? This will definitely be able to take care of continuous use from an entire family using the garbage disposal on a regular basis. If you went a little less expensive and a little less horsepower you may have some problems over the years with abuse. Some are meant for small apartments with only 1 or 2 people using it. The 3300 will work great for a large family that isn't afraid to cook a lot of food. You'll have no problem grinding chicken bones every day.
Overall we've found this to be a pretty great product. There's not much we can find wrong with any of the waste king products. When you choose that brand it's almost certain you're going to get a quality product, it's all about finding the product that fits your specific needs. Obviously this disposal wouldn't be fully equipped for a 3 story restaurant and would be a little overkill for 1 person in an apartment. So if you're somewhere in-between these 2 extremes this will definitely get the job done, and easily as well. The EZ Mount system is ingenious and let's you get it in quick so you can be using it in no time.
