LED Kits For Motorcycle
One of the latest craze to hit bikers is to ornament their motorcycles with lighting effects. There are numerous LED kits for motorcycle that are hitting the streets. Why LED?
Light-emitting diodes or LED is a technology whereby photons of light are released through these diodes making them very luminous, that is, extremely bright. These are small light bulbs which do not make use of filaments unlike ordinary incandescent light bulbs.
Durability
One of the characteristics of light-emitting diodes is one of durability. You see, LEDs do not have filaments like those found in most light sources. Power Consumption

LEDs run mostly on 12 volts DC which makes them especially popular in cars and bikes. Since the battery found in bikes are 12 volts direct current, there is no special power requirements necessary for installing LED kits for motorcycle.
No Delay
If you notice how a fluorescent bulb flickers for a few seconds before they actually light up, then you will understand how different LEDs work. LEDs do not need a ballast to heat them up. There is no time delay necessary to make them work. Once you switch an LED circuitry on, the light produced is instantaneous.

LED lights are very bright. It may in fact be one of the brightest light sources available in the market today, save for the HID lights. LED lights have one of the highest luminous efficiency ratios.
