If you only had $2,500 to buy a motorcycle would you buy a Harley, Yamaha, Honda, or Suzuki?
Which one is the best for the price? Which one has the least upkeep in costs? Think about being able to find parts for it also.
Found 87 Harley for around that price but still would like to know whats the best bike for price and upkeep costs.
I know what I *DID* bought -- a Suzuki Savage. In 2004 I got a 2000 LS650 for just $2325, only 5K miles. 6 years and 26,000 miles I still have it, city streets, freeway, and even a 2600 mile tour. I use mostly Sportster parts for mine, light, saddle, muffler....
Actually, any motorcycle from the four big Japanese manufacturers would be suitable. They are all good.
