Is the Yamaha YZF R15 a good bike for a beginner?

i have taken the test drive its not that fast in the first three gears but i didn't increase the RPM much...and i have only learned to ride on a Honda Ambition 125 and the lesson was just for an hour.

Yes, it is a good beginners bike. Generally, a 250cc bike is better for the beginner. With a smaller engine it takes more skill to work the clutch from a start. But, it is still light and easy to manuver for the beginner. Once you learn to use the clutch and shift gears and gain about a years worth of riding you will be ready for any bike.
