Cam lock harness or belt lock?
Is there any difference in safety or are they just for style? Cam lock seems cooler but it looks like a pain to rebuckle every time..
A cam lock is harder to release accidentally. And since it is centrally mounted on the belt it is easier to access. Also one cam lock can secure multiple belts so you require only one release. And unlike a buckle belt system the cam lock centralizes all belts in the centre of the body mass helping to keep the driver erect in an accident.
The only disadvantage is that they take a few seconds longer to secure properly. But when done up the driver is assured that the system is secure.
