starter bike?
im 6 feet 180 bls 17 and i want to start riding a motorcyle i have being looking at some bike....i thoght about the kawasaki ninja 250 or ducati monster or the hypermotard can u guys give me your thoughts about my choiases, and recommand ofew other bikes too and please give me the pricses of the monster and the hypermotard in canada thanks cause it dosent show on the internet thankss
If you have limited riding experience then start with the ninja 250. It's a very forgiving bike where you can make mistakes and walk away. It's not if you crash but when, everyone does it. The plastics and other parts are cheaper to fix on the 250 and the light wight will alow you to perfect your craft. If you are like the rest of us you will be bitten and you will be able to accurately guage what is in your future for yourself when it is time to upgrade. I too am 6'2" and started life on the ninja, best move i ever made. I laid it down and was able to walk away in disgust instead of the other option. The fix was a couple hundred for new plastic. I upgraded to a 2002 YZF 600 and learned alot more. I now ride a literbike and can honestly say that without the skill sets I learned a few years back on the ninja. I would have probably made a few more trips to the hospital and shelled out a lot more in replacement parts. REMEMBER, This will not be your last bike. Get the one you can learn the most on. Get in touch with experienced, older riders in your area, trust me they will not mind teaching you everything you need to know, and they will not push you further than your limits. Pride gets you hurt.
