Is this motorcycle helmet safe enough? - Link Included?

I think I found the perfect helmet but the price makes me suspicious. The reviews are good, it's DOT and Snell approved, looks comfortable but it's incredibly low priced. I've looked at dozens of Shoei helmets but they are all so ugly. I'm not trying to skimp on safety, I just hate spending $500 on a fugly helmet. I've been told that just because a Helmet is expensive or cheap doesn't make it any better or worse. Does anyone know about this Helmet or have any advice?

I have an HJC and it's a great helmet and a well respected brand. As far as helmets are concerned, more expensive isn't always better (though people tend to think that). Many more expensive helmets are designed for racers and made to withstand impacts that are uncommon in daily life and it can make them less effective in protecting against the types of crashes average riders are involved in.

As other have mentioned, fit is extremely important because it needs to fit right to protect properly and if the helmet is uncomfortable it can get distracting.
