KTM SXF 450 Maintenence?
Hey, I just bought a 2010 SXF 450 and was wondering what i have to do maintenance wise? I've never owned a four stroke before so would kindly like to know what I have to do to keep my bike lasting for years? Please and thankyou, I'd just like to know what I have to do every few hours or when I change the oil stuff like that thanks and also the valves 
Im pretty sure the manual says every 3 hours, i change the oil and filter every 2nd practice day (so between 2-3hours), or would suggest after every race meet, genuine KTM filters are about $20 so the cost isn't exactly huge. You might want to look at belray thumper oil instead of motul factoryline unless you are racing as its half the price ($60 instead of $120), and i know heaps of people that run it. Clean the air filter every ride and the bike will be good for years.
my valves moved to the outer limits after the first ride but once they were adjusted they've been good for about 20hours now, so i would suggest getting them checked after the first ride or two, although that's just my personal experience and i know others have been fine.

PS not sure about the advice from the dude that changes his oil once a year and doesn't check his valves LOL!!
