Nintendogs, any help? Need to know any basic info the cute game..?

I recetently got the Nintendogs game, I have the Chihua version (bad spelling). It took my a while to work out, but I got it eventually, and by reading the manual.

anyway, i was wondering if anyone had any useful tips or information about things in the game. Are the competitions hard to win and what are some good ways to make money? Just anything really.

My nintendog, Bella and I thank you for your help!!

Well, here are some tips i have from personal experience:

- don't teach your dogs tricks where it's noisy...it's very hard to in places like the car. Even if they learn the trick while you're somewhere loud, they may not be able to repeat the trick when you say the command since the background noise levels may be different.

-keep walking your dog to get its stamina up! The first walk won't be that long since Bella can't walk that far yet, but after many hours of playing the stamina bar will reach all the way up to the eraser icon! :)

-competitions aren't hard if you practice. For obedience trials, practice at home and time how long your dog can hold certain tricks-bella will be able to hold them longer the more you practice those tricks. For agility trials, every walk you go on stop by the gym. and for disc competitions, in my opinion they aren't really worth the amount of money you win (even in the championships) but if you really like playing frisbee with your dog, practice at the park. Your dog will run faster and get the frisbee from farther and farther away each time.

-as for money, just get it from competitions. For me, agility is the easist one to train for and win the championship in. I saved up over $100,000 from agility trials...even though the manual says you can sell stuff at the 2nd hand shop, in the begining of the game you don't get any good expensive items to sell...you get better items on walks the longer you've had to bond with your dog :)

Hope that helps you! =D
