Norton Dominator valve springs?

I am rebuilding my spare Domi 88 Engine and bought a box of new Terry valve springs which have an uncompressed length of 42mm. The old springs are 52mm long. The new springs are ref 451.720 marked for 88 & special, Atlas & Commando 500/650/750cc 1962. My engine number is k63286 k122 with a cast iron cylinder head number T2212. As I cannot find any detailed information on the web, are there any Norton experts out there who may know if the new springs are suitable? Your expertise gratefully received.
