How much should I expect to pay for a complete engine rebuild for a 1990 Kawasaki KR1-S.?

Bottom end is good.
top end dropped piston ring cylinder no good.
May aswell do crank and seals too

Not sure where you are but should be $1500 to $2500. These are very high performance bikes and work must be done properly. On the plus side, they are appreciating in value and will be worth everything you spend on it.
